Uniform Dress Code
Dress and Good Grooming Policy for Grades 9-12:
- A clean well groomed appearance is expected of all.
- Flip flops/shower shoes may not be worn.
- Boys are to be clean shaven with no facial hair.
- Buttons on shirts must be buttoned except for the neckline.
- Shirts are to be neatly tucked in.
- No outdoor jackets or hooded sweatshirts may be worn in the classroom at any time.
- Athletic clothing for athletic activities are not to be worn during the school day.
- At no time is writing or symbols on shirts, etc'. to be worn under the approved school clothing be readable or seen through the clothing.
- No long sleeved thermal shirts or other long sleeved shirts with lettering or graphics may be worn under short sleeved shirts.
Proper attire for students at Don Bosco is:
- Slacks, skirts, or shorts may be either navy blue, gray, black or khaki. They must be of appropriate length, style, and material. The appropriateness of the length of shorts will be the final decision of the administrator. Nylon, mesh, denim, stretch, knit, and sweat pants, slacks, skirts, or shorts are not allowed.
- Solid colored-white, navy or pastel blue, or yellow polo shirts may be worn. They may not have emblems or inscriptions, other than the following: Don Bosco Basketball, Don Bosco Baseball, Don Bosco Wrestling, Don Bosco Drama, Don Bosco Football, Don Bosco Golf, Don Bosco Softball, Don Bosco Volleyball, Don Bosco Junior Achievement, or any other logo approved by the administration.
- Non-hooded Don Bosco sweatshirts may be worn.
- Don Bosco tee shirts may be worn on Fridays with uniform pants or uniform shorts unless there is an all school Mass on Friday.
- No hats may be worn in the school building during regular school hours.
